Congratulations to Ms. Baird on winning the TSIN STEM Grant

I won a TSIN STEM Classroom Grant from TSIN and TVA. It is a $5,000 grant. I will be using it to introduce STREAM (Science Technology Reading Engineering Art Math) across multiple disciplines in the classroom. We will be receiving classroom sets of Ozobots and 3D pens. There will also be some other bots like Dot and Dash, Sphero, along with several other items. 

These will be used for STEM lessons and to enrich reading and math content. The items that are being  brought into the classroom can be used in various ways in all subject areas. The students will benefit from the grant by being able to have more tangible experiences in the classroom. Having these items in my classroom will help them grow academically, and I know it will make them eager to learn more and do more.
